Man Push Cart is a slow movie. But it is a sad movie telling the story of a former Pakistani rock star working on the streets of New York City selling bagels and coffee from his push cart.
His story gets deeper and deeper within the movie, including the loss of his wife, his further disconnection from his son, and his attempts at love and friendship.
The main protagonist, Ahmad, seems to hurt from his life and cannot attempt to carry on a healthy relationship with people who want to help him or want to become closer to him.
This is the story that not only explores the difficulties of living with past experiences, but also the difficulty of being an outsider and trying to find new meaning, when everything else has already been lost.
